Our background is cinema. Andrew is a director who builds a frame the way a painter builds a canvas. Roma is a film producer who spent over ten years on the stage of the Bolshoi Theatre before moving into film. How Do We Film
Weddings in Los Angeles?

The base is documentary: we follow the day without staging it. On top of it we add editorial framing, with light and composition treated the way fashion magazines treat them. We shoot Sony FX3 cinema cameras, record ceremony audio professionally and fly a DJI drone where FAA rules and the venue allow.

LA light deserves its own line: long golden hours, dry air and a warm amber cast that arrives earlier in the evening than almost anywhere we have shot. We plan the day around those pockets of light, and the difference shows in the final film.

Super 8 Wedding Films
Are Our Signature

We shoot real Super 8 on a vintage Braun Nizo 3056, on real film stock, and this format is what couples come to us for. California light and film stock are made for each other: grain and warmth on top of long golden hours. A cartridge is short and there is no screen to check, so every shot has to count, and that discipline shows in the result.

WHERE WE WORK

We cover the whole of greater Los Angeles, including Downtown LA, Beverly Hills, Malibu, Santa Monica, Pasadena, West Hollywood, Silver Lake and Long Beach, plus Orange County and Santa Barbara. Each neighborhood carries its own light and geography, and we scout any venue that is new to us before the wedding day.

One shoot we keep coming back to in conversation is an elopement in Joshua Tree: desert light and complete silence around the couple. That intimacy is hard to find inside a traditional venue, and it says a lot about what LA and its surroundings can give a wedding film.

if the venue is new to us, we visit it in advance to read the space and the light. If there is no planner, we help build the timeline of the day.

Proposal, contract and a 50% deposit that locks the date

Post-production: we review every clip, build the story, grade the color, mix the sound.

The wedding day itself

Delivery through a private Pixieset gallery: photos within a month, the film within 4 to 6 months (most couples receive it in 4 to 5).
